It also reminded me of what Marv Wolfman's said about the relationship between Donna, Kory, and Raven when he first started working on the Teen Titans. Kory's on one end of the spectrum, Raven's on the other, and Donna is the bridge between them.
I started to put down "emotional spectrum," but there's more to it than that. Sure, Kory is sensual and outgoing, and Raven is celibate and introspective. But it's just as valid to point out that Kory was born a child of privilege (a princess) who grew up being cherished and celebrated by those around her, and Raven was born a child of shame (being the daughter of a demon and a human woman) who grew up being told she had to control herself at all times or else her father's evil would take over.
