Simply put, I think Batman - especially as Frank Miller and Jeph Loeb have redefined him - is one of modern writing's most complex characters. Who wouldn't want to play a man of such intelligence and such focused anger and determination that he's an unstoppable force even without superpowers? Batman is all about the attitude. How cool is that?

He is, however, iconic, and because of that I feel I have to do a level check all the time on what I pose and what I plan. A man smart enough to outwit Superman is way smarter than I, so I keep reading Batman graphic novels, checking history online, and watching what others do. The biggest prep work for me is communication with the other players.

I feel extremely lucky to have this character with a collection of writers as talented as this game.
