My name is Michael...and I was a carney! *sob!* Oh its true. I know all the ways to beat the carnival games because I was taught how to cheat them in favor of the house. I never did because I thought they were hard enough and I was just seasonal. The lifers made sure I knew every way to bring in more money honest or not.

Ibn notes that the milk bottles are weighted. It is a common misconception that that is what makes it so hard. They are (so they don't have to be replaced often), but not enough to stand up to a baseball. The trick is the positioning. If the bottom two bottles are lined up parallel to the booth and the person throwing, a solid hit in the center will knock them all down most of the time. The gimmick is that they are rarely put that way. In fact, one of them is put about an inch behind the other one. It is not enough that you would immediately recognize it, but enough that you have to throw a really good curve ball (not likely in the small amount of space) to hit the triangle square on.

Beware any game that only gives you big prizes. Chances are you will lose. I know all the ways :D
