There's been a lot happening in Watchtower as of late. I thought I'd help out by summarizing current events.

The JLA is reeling from Brother I's counterattack. Brother I is still out there. In possibly related news, Sue appears to have left Ralph for Ted Kord. Sue has pretended to be breaking up with Ralph so that she can help Black Lightning infiltrate a secret society that seems to be turning against the metahumans lately.
Meanwhile, Ralph has discovered that Ra's al-Ghul is up to something major, and is trying to track him down. His nose has directed him to a story about a Gotham cop's son being kidnapped, leaving behind a violin case filled with pickles and cookies. Ironically, this kidnapping is not the work of Dr. Destiny, who is suspected, but is the work of the Scarecrow, who is working in Gotham according to the wishes of Ra's al-Ghul.

In Gotham, a trio of criminal has started working together on a gun-running operation: the Penguin, Rupurt Thorne, and Carleton Duquesne. How this will affect the life of the Batman has yet to be seen.

In other news, the JSA and Wonder Woman managed to rescue Captain Marvel from the clutches of Lex Luthor, thanks to the aid of a mysterious young man, Ibn al-Xu-ffasc. Ibn is the son of Batman and Talia, aged to adulthood through mystic means by Ra's al-Ghul, where he wandered through Hell for 20 years in about a week. His mind is a merging of the young boy native to this world, and the extradimensional Ibn from the future who Nightstar knew.
In other JSA news, Alan Scott's son, known by most as Obsidian, has been taken by Shade for training, against Alan's wishes.

Meanwhile, the Green Lanterns, who have inducted Jade into their number, have discovered Arisia is alive and has been brainwashed by Sinestro. They have plans to rescue her and break the brainwashing with Wonder Woman's aid. Hal plans to lure Sinestro into a trap by mocking the alien on live television in an interview with Lois Lane. The other Lanterns will be there in hiding, making Sinestro think it will be two of them -- Arisia and Sinestro, vs. Hal, on live TV... only to reveal that the entire Corps, along with Alan Scott, is there to put the smack-down. This has been complicated by one little fact: Hal made a backup ring for Arisia, for once she rejoins the Corps, but he had his pockets picked. The kid started using the ring, and Guy took a liking to the pickpocket. Hal's not too happy, but considering that most of what the kid has done thus far with the ring was doing good, Hal's letting the kid help protect citizens during the big fight. The interview has just begun.

Sinestro, it should be noted, has been recruited into a new secret society of villains, led by Deathstroke the Terminator. The next person to be recruited is unknown, but Deathstroke is currently trying to locate Scarecrow.

Elsewhere... Superboy has been kidnapped, and several other Titans are in hot pursuit. Also, Roy is trying to rescue Donna Troy from the Underworld, and is trying to remain pure for the upcoming Supernatural Olympics. Unbeknownst to the living Titans, Donna has been recruited by Persephone on the other side of Death; Persephone is looking to overthrow her husband.

And lastly, the magic-types are commenting that they feel something brewing... something major... but they don't know what it is.
