Exactly a year ago today, the JLA_Watchtower community was started.

It came about after several of the original players started hanging out in the

lunatic_cafe, and commenting in each other's journals in-character. A few knew each other from other role-play games, or their personal journals, and gradually everyone got to know each other.

While the cafe is a great place to hang out, there was interest in actually having some adventures together, and so the Watchtower was born.

We started off with two thirds of the Batclan, a few Titans and a handful of the JLA - we now have a full contingent of the JLA and the Titans, most of the JSA (if not all, I can never tell...) and a large number of the bad guys. We even have a few original charcters all of our own!

In the words of Fat Boy Slim...'We've come a long, long way together....'

I hope you'll all join us in celebrating our first anniversary! I can honestly say I've never met a friendlier bunch of people ever, and it is a pleasure to work with them.
